"It Starts With Just One"

I designed and hand-built this piece, with each gear finished to be completely unique. The gears are mounted onto birch wood using metal hardware; when the gear is turned at the green arrow, the entire system moves together in harmony behind the peace sign.

The piece combines my fascination with mechanical elements with a modern take on the hope for the best in humanity to come together, however different we may be.
